GALAXIS Launches Two New VFR Models for Narrow-Aisle Pallet Handling

On 28 May 2026, GALAXIS Technology (stock code: 02729.HK) introduced two new VFR models, the VFR-CS3 and VFR-CL4.

Following the launch of four VFR products in 2025 for floor warehouses, high-bay facilities, and different pallet standards, the two new models extend the series in two key areas: very-narrow-aisle operation and heavy-load handling at greater lift heights.

Developed Around Real Operating Requirements

The VFR Series is developed around specific customer requirements, including handling 1.2-metre-deep block pallets in aisles below 1.8 metres, lifting loads to 4.8 metres, picking 2.0 × 2.1-metre pallets directly from the floor, and combining a 1.5-tonne payload with high-level storage.

“Customer requirements continue to drive our product development,” said Bai Hongxing, Executive Director of GALAXIS and Head of the company’s Artificial Intelligence Research Institute. “We focus on engineering the complexity into the product so that customers can achieve simpler and more efficient operations.”

VFR-CS3 for Very-Narrow-Aisle Operations

The VFR-CS3 is designed for narrow-aisle handling of block and double-sided pallets.

Compared with the VFR-CS1, the new model replaces the two-stage scissor-fork mechanism with a single-stage design. This reduces mast thickness and adds forward-reach capability, allowing the robot to handle 1.2-metre-deep pallets at heights of up to 4.8 metres in aisles below 1.75 metres.

The configuration is intended to improve storage density in facilities where aisle width is tightly constrained.

VFR-CL4 Combines Heavy Loads with High Lifting

The VFR-CL4 is designed for floor warehouses requiring both higher payloads and greater lift heights.

The model handles loads of up to 1.5 tonnes below 2.5 metres and maintains a rated payload of 1 tonne at 4 metres. Its maximum picking height is 4.8 metres.

A reinforced fork structure limits deflection under a 1-tonne load. Together with a lower centre of gravity, strengthened mast design, and higher-power drive system, the robot supports frequent high-level pallet handling.

Supporting a Broad Range of Industries

The VFR-CS3 and VFR-CL4 are suitable for applications requiring high storage density, heavy-load handling, and configurable pallet operations. Target industries include pharmaceutical, automotive, electronics, new energy, footwear and textiles, home appliances, and third-party logistics.

The products can be deployed in both floor warehouses and high-bay facilities.

GALAXIS plans to continue expanding the VFR Series, with further product releases scheduled to support higher-density, more flexible, and more reliable pallet storage operations.
