The Physical Intelligence Innovation Alliance (PAii) was officially launched at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC 2026), bringing together 32 founding members from industry, academia, and research. Zhejiang GALAXIS Technology Group Co., Ltd. joined the alliance as a core founding member.
The initiative aims to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence in real-world physical environments, including intelligent logistics, advanced manufacturing, and robotics.
Advancing Physical Intelligence in Industrial Applications
As artificial intelligence moves beyond digital environments into physical operations, enterprises face practical challenges such as fragmented innovation resources, complex system integration, and difficulties translating new technologies into scalable industrial applications.
PAii was established to strengthen collaboration across the innovation ecosystem. Its planned areas of cooperation include joint technology development, shared research resources, commercialization of academic research, industry standards and testing, multidisciplinary talent development, and project incubation.
The alliance will place particular emphasis on practical implementation, with project delivery and member contribution forming part of its operating framework.
GALAXIS Brings Proven Industrial Logistics Experience
GALAXIS Executive Director Ms. Yan Yang represented the company at the launch ceremony and signed the letter of intent to participate in the alliance.
GALAXIS develops intelligent robotics and automation solutions for warehouse and industrial logistics. Its portfolio combines robotic systems, intelligent software, and digital twin technologies, supported by experience from projects deployed across a wide range of industrial environments.
These operational scenarios provide a practical foundation for testing and applying physical intelligence technologies in areas such as multi-equipment coordination, autonomous task execution, and intelligent decision-making within logistics facilities.
Building More Autonomous Intralogistics Systems
Through the alliance, GALAXIS will work with other members to advance the application of physical intelligence in industrial logistics. Key areas of focus will include coordinated operation across multiple robotic systems and more autonomous responses to changing site conditions.
GALAXIS will also contribute to industry collaboration, technical standards, and the incubation of new industrial projects. The company is currently accelerating the deployment of embodied intelligent robots in logistics environments, and its participation in PAii represents a further step in the development of more integrated and intelligent intralogistics solutions.
The alliance was launched during the Physical Intelligence Innovation Ecosystem Forum at WAIC 2026. Representatives from all 32 founding organizations attended the event to explore new models of cooperation across research, technology development, and industrial implementation.
