GALAXIS Unveils Embodied Logistics Strategy, Advancing into Embodied Intelligence Robotics

As intelligent transformation accelerates across the global intralogistics industry, GALAXIS has officially announced its expansion into embodied intelligence robotics. Building on more than a decade of experience in intelligent intralogistics robotics, the company is developing a fully coordinated, autonomous intralogistics system designed to advance warehouse operations from conventional automation toward greater intelligence and autonomy.

Addressing Complex Logistics Challenges with Embodied Intelligence

Despite continued advances in warehouse automation, manual operations remain a significant part of many intralogistics processes. Diverse packaging formats, dynamic operating environments, and increasingly flexible business requirements continue to create challenges that conventional automation systems may struggle to address.

GALAXIS sees embodied intelligence robots as more than standalone execution tools. By integrating adaptive forms, environmental perception, multiple operational capabilities, and fleet-level collaboration, these intelligent agents are designed to interact with physical environments and respond dynamically to changing operational requirements.

This approach represents an important step toward more adaptive and autonomous intralogistics operations.

The Technology Core: Logistics Brain and a Data-Driven Closed Loop

At the core of the GALAXIS embodied logistics strategy is its “Logistics Brain,” an embodied intelligence platform developed specifically for warehousing and intralogistics applications.

Drawing on extensive real-world operational data accumulated across industries including pharmaceuticals, new energy, electronics, and automotive, as well as experience from more than 1,000 deployed projects, GALAXIS has established an end-to-end closed loop covering data generation, model training, evaluation, and deployment.

Through continuous interaction with real operating environments, the platform can iteratively optimize its decision-making models. The scale and quality of real-world operational data therefore play an important role in the continued development of the system.

Technology Architecture: Perception, Computing and Control

The GALAXIS embodied intelligence architecture is built around three interconnected technology layers: Perception Intelligence (PI), Computing Intelligence (CI), and Control Technology (CT).

Perception Intelligence (PI)

PI enables robots to perceive and interpret their physical environment.

The platform incorporates GALAXIS-developed super-resolution models, object recognition, environmental detection, personnel safety algorithms, and image-learning technologies. Together, these capabilities support high-precision object recognition, positioning, and status detection within complex three-dimensional warehouse environments.

PI technologies have already been incorporated into GALAXIS MSR, VFR, and CSR product lines to support a range of complex operational tasks.

Computing Intelligence (CI)

CI provides an algorithmic framework tailored to different industries and operational requirements.

Built on years of project experience and industry knowledge, and supported by GALAXIS digital twin technology, CI coordinates interactions between robots, operational processes, and enterprise systems. It is designed to optimize operational data, facilitate multi-robot collaboration, and improve task execution across warehouse workflows while reducing implementation complexity and risk.

Control Technology (CT)

CT serves as the underlying control architecture for GALAXIS robots.

Developed in-house, the technology provides real-time motion monitoring and control to support stable and precise robot operation in complex environments. Combined with Model Predictive Control (MPC) and digital twin technologies, CT also supports remote commissioning, fault prediction, and rapid system recovery, helping improve equipment reliability and operational availability.

From Technology to Deployment: Built Around Real-World Applications

For GALAXIS, the value of embodied intelligence lies in its ability to address practical challenges in industrial environments. More than a decade of experience across different industries provides the company with three key foundations for the commercialization of embodied logistics.

Deep Scenario Understanding
Experience with customers across multiple industries enables GALAXIS to understand warehouse processes, operational constraints, and application-specific requirements, helping align technology development with real operational needs.

Comprehensive Robotics Portfolio
GALAXIS has developed a robotics portfolio covering the three core intralogistics functions of storage, transportation, and sorting, including its MSR, AMR, and CSR product lines. This portfolio provides the hardware foundation for coordinated embodied logistics applications.

Integrated Software Ecosystem
GALAXIS develops its own Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS), and Robot Control System (RCS). Together, these systems form the software architecture for robot fleet coordination and integration with upstream business systems.

Advancing from Automation to Intelligent, Autonomous Logistics

GALAXIS’ expansion into embodied intelligence robotics represents an extension of its existing intelligent intralogistics capabilities rather than a departure from its core business.

Going forward, GALAXIS will continue developing the versatility and adaptability of its Logistics Brain, combining real-world operational data with AI algorithms to enable more intelligent perception, decision-making, and execution across intralogistics environments.

Through this strategy, GALAXIS aims to accelerate the evolution of warehouse operations from automation toward intelligent and increasingly autonomous logistics, while continuing to explore the future possibilities of embodied intelligence in real-world industrial applications.
