GALAXIS concluded its four-day participation at CeMAT ASIA 2020 on 6 November, presenting a new tote stacker crane alongside its established four-way shuttle system.
Throughout the exhibition, GALAXIS product and engineering specialists introduced visitors to the systems’ operating principles, technical configurations, and application scenarios.
Configurable Tote Stacker Crane Solution
The newly presented tote stacker crane is designed for automated storage and retrieval applications.
Its travel speed, lifting performance, fork speed, and positioning accuracy can be configured according to specific operating requirements. This enables the system to support different load types, throughput targets, and warehouse conditions.
At the time of the exhibition, the solution had been applied in sectors including libraries and new energy.
Shuttle System for Goods-to-Person Operations
GALAXIS also demonstrated its four-way shuttle system, one of the company’s core automated storage technologies.
Working with lifts, conveyors, and goods-to-person picking stations, the shuttle system supports automated storage, retrieval, transportation, and picking. It can also connect with warehouse management and control software to coordinate equipment and inventory flows.
The shuttles can move across aisles within the racking system, while multiple robots provide operational redundancy and flexible task allocation.
By presenting both stacker crane and shuttle-based technologies, GALAXIS demonstrated its ability to configure automated storage systems around different warehouse layouts, capacity requirements, and operating workflows.
