GALAXIS Technology deployed a shuttle-based goods-to-person picking system at the JOMOO logistics center, supporting high-density storage and efficient order fulfillment for kitchen and bathroom products.
The project was designed to accommodate changing business requirements across both online and offline channels, while improving storage capacity, picking efficiency, and operational flexibility.
Supporting Growth in Omnichannel Fulfillment
Founded in 1990, JOMOO develops and manufactures kitchen and bathroom products under the JOMOO brand.
As e-commerce order volumes increased, the company required a more efficient logistics system capable of supporting different order types and improving coordination across warehouse operations. In 2017, JOMOO launched the second phase of its logistics center automation project.
High-Density Storage and Goods-to-Person Picking
The solution uses GALAXIS shuttle robots to provide automated storage and retrieval for a wide range of components and products.
The shuttle system supports dense storage within the racking structure and delivers inventory directly to picking stations. Compared with conventional person-to-goods operations, the goods-to-person workflow reduces unnecessary walking and manual searching while supporting more accurate and efficient split-case picking.

Integrated System Design
The project integrates the racking system, four-way shuttle robots, high-speed lifts, conveyors, and picking workstations into a coordinated automation workflow.
This connected system improves the movement of goods between storage and picking areas while reducing intermediate handling steps. It also provides the flexibility required to manage diverse product categories and changing order volumes.

The combination of shuttle robots and high-speed lifts supports automated put-away and retrieval across a broad SKU range.
By introducing an integrated goods-to-person workflow, JOMOO improved space utilization, picking efficiency, and process coordination within the logistics center. The system also reduced reliance on repetitive manual handling and provided a scalable foundation for future e-commerce growth.
