GALAXIS participated in CeMAT ASIA 2019, the 20th edition of the Asia International Logistics Technology and Transport Systems Exhibition.
The event brought together companies and industry professionals to discuss the development of intelligent logistics, advanced manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things, and Logistics 4.0.
At the exhibition, GALAXIS presented an intelligent warehouse portfolio covering automated storage, sorting, material transportation, and warehouse software.
Four-Way Shuttle System for High-Density Storage
GALAXIS showcased its four-way shuttle system for applications including order picking, consolidation, and sequencing.
The shuttle supports loads of up to 50 kg and can operate with lifts in storage systems reaching heights of up to 24 metres. Its supercapacitor-based power system enables rapid charging, with a 10-second charge supporting approximately three minutes of operation.
The modular system design combines a compact footprint with high storage density, allowing the configuration to be adapted according to capacity and throughput requirements.
BLITZ Sorting System for Flexible Layouts
The BLITZ sorter was also presented as a high-performance sorting solution designed for accuracy, compact deployment, and lower energy consumption.
The system can be configured for parcel hubs and distribution centres with limited space and expanded as business volumes increase. It supports sorting applications across e-commerce, apparel, pharmaceutical, and other industries.
AGVs for Warehouse and Production Logistics
GALAXIS introduced AGV solutions for warehouse management, sorting, and material transportation.
Target applications included e-commerce distribution, consumer electronics manufacturing, general manufacturing, healthcare, food, and automotive operations. The systems are designed to improve material flow efficiency and strengthen operational control.
Coordinated through WMS and WCS
The automation equipment is supported by GALAXIS warehouse software.
The WMS connects physical goods and pallets with digital records through technologies such as RFID and barcode identification, enabling inventory and logistics activities to be tracked throughout the operation.
The WCS coordinates equipment including four-way shuttle robots, high-speed lifts, and AGVs. It integrates system interfaces and provides unified task scheduling, monitoring, and equipment control.
Through the combined presentation of robotics, automation equipment, and software, GALAXIS demonstrated its approach to building coordinated intelligent warehouse operations.
