GALAXIS made its first appearance at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany, from 19 February 2019, presenting its four-way shuttle technology through a joint exhibition with an industry partner.

LogiMAT 2019 brought together 1,655 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions across ten exhibition halls, providing GALAXIS with an opportunity to engage with international intralogistics companies and introduce its warehouse automation capabilities to the European market.

FLASH Shuttle for Goods-to-Person Operations

At the exhibition, GALAXIS presented FLASH, a four-way tote shuttle designed for high-density storage and goods-to-person picking applications.

Working with high-speed lifts, FLASH moves both longitudinally and laterally within the racking system, enabling automated travel across multiple storage levels. The robot uses supercapacitor technology to support efficient energy management and frequent operating cycles.

According to the product specifications presented at the event, FLASH reaches a maximum speed of 5 m/s and acceleration of up to 2 m/s².

Modular Configurations for Different Applications

The FLASH platform uses a modular and standardized design to support different storage and handling requirements.

Available configurations include:

Single- and double-deep storage
Clamping-based load handling
Optional antistatic versions for specialized environments

These configurations allow the system to accommodate diverse load types, storage layouts, and operational conditions.

By 2019, GALAXIS shuttle solutions had been deployed across nearly ten industries. The company’s participation in LogiMAT marked an early step in introducing its intelligent storage technologies to international customers and partners.
