Galaxis Technology planned and implemented an intelligent logistics system for Barco’s manufacturing center, integrating automated storage, conveying equipment, shuttle systems, lift systems, and intelligent software platforms.
The three-level logistics system connects different functional areas from the first floor to the third floor, enabling efficient circulation of finished products, semi-finished products, and raw materials. With more than 27,000 storage locations and automated cross-floor material flow, the solution supports an annual production capacity of 20,000 units.

In the precision manufacturing industry, enterprises face increasing challenges from growing production capacity demands, complex material management, and the need for highly accurate logistics operations. Traditional warehouse models often struggle with insufficient storage density, inefficient cross-floor material transfer, and limited production line responsiveness.
To support advanced manufacturing requirements, companies need an intelligent logistics system that integrates storage, transportation, production supply, and digital management, ensuring efficient material flow with higher accuracy and flexibility.
GALAXIS provided a comprehensive intelligent logistics solution integrating tote MSR robots, pallet stacker systems, VFR robots, carton transfer units, automated conveying systems, and intelligent software platforms including WMS, WCS, MFC, and RCS.
The solution adopts intelligent zoning to manage receiving, buffering, high-density storage, production distribution, cleanroom transfer, and automated packaging processes. Through automated material handling and multi-system coordination, the warehouse achieves seamless connection between storage areas and production lines.
After implementation, the intelligent logistics system significantly improved storage capacity and operational efficiency. The solution provides 6,800+ pallet locations and 20,500+ tote locations, achieving more than twice the previous storage capacity while supporting future production expansion.
Through full-process automation and intelligent scheduling, the system achieved 99.99% operational accuracy, doubled picking efficiency, and reduced labor requirements by 60%, enabling a more flexible and reliable manufacturing logistics model.
