Bosideng: Smart logistics upgrade empowering high-efficiency apparel distribution operations
Project Overview

GALAXIS provided an intelligent logistics solution for the apparel distribution center, integrating tote storage systems, CSR conveyor systems, AGV transportation robots, robotic palletizing and depalletizing systems, and other automation equipment.

The logistics distribution center covers multiple warehouse areas, including multi-shuttle warehouses and stacker crane warehouses, with AGVs connecting different areas for internal transportation. The solution enables efficient storage, sorting, and material handling, supporting large-scale inbound and outbound operations while improving warehouse automation capabilities.

Industry Pain Points

In the Apparel industry, enterprises face challenges from seasonal demand fluctuations, high SKU complexity, and large-scale order fulfillment requirements. Traditional warehouse operations often struggle with limited storage efficiency, high labor dependency, and difficulties in maintaining fast and accurate order processing during peak periods.

To support business growth and improve logistics responsiveness, apparel enterprises require flexible and intelligent warehouse systems that can handle diverse product categories, optimize storage utilization, and ensure efficient inventory circulation.

GALAXIS Solution

GALAXIS deployed a smart storage and handling solution combining two-way tote shuttle systems and wing-type box lift systems to improve storage density and operational efficiency. The solution supports high-frequency storage and retrieval operations while ensuring stable material flow within the distribution center.

Through intelligent equipment integration, the system enables accurate sorting and efficient inbound/outbound processes, helping the customer achieve automated warehouse operations and significantly improve resource utilization.

Impact

After implementation, the intelligent logistics system effectively supported large-scale inbound and outbound operations while improving warehouse efficiency and accuracy. The solution provides more than 24,000 tote locations and supports 26,688 product categories, enabling flexible storage management for complex apparel operations.

The project significantly reduced labor dependency, decreasing workforce requirements from 328 employees to 127 employees. Through automation and intelligent logistics coordination, the system achieved higher operational efficiency and supported the customer’s future business expansion.
